This is a unique half-day tour for those who want to discover the Medoc wine region and especially the Margaux appellation, world famous for its lead 1er Grand Cru Classé: Château Margaux. You will discover 2 renowned Classified Growth Châteaux and have the opportunity to taste their fabulous wines.

A perfect afternoon in the famous wine region of Medoc!
2pm Departure from Bordeaux Tourism Office. Come and admire the lowlands of the Medoc and learn about all the specificities of this wine region with your guide.
3pm First, enjoy a visit and wine tasting session at a Classified Growth or “Cru Bourgeois” Château of the Margaux appellation.
4:30pm Experience a second wine tasting session in a 1855 Classified Growth Château. The classification resulted from the 1855 Exposition Universelle de Paris, when Emperor Napoleon III requested a classification system for France's best Bordeaux wines which were to be on display for visitors from around the world.
6pm Return to Bordeaux Tourism Office.
