Saint-Emilion Wine Lovers (afternoon - winter tour)
Step back in time and discover the holy wine trail of the medieval village of Saint-Emilion, and its surrounding vineyards listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site!Your tour shall begin at a prestigious winery with your first taste and tour of what this famous region has to offer. The tour continues as you explore the Saint-Emilion village, learning about other nearby appellations such as Pomerol, Montagne Saint-Emilion, and Fronsac. We’ll continue the tour on a high-note, traveling to a nearby family-owned estate where you will relish wines from the estate as well as local cheeses and cured meats. A genuine taste of the decadent French lifestyle that is sure to be a memorable part of your trip to our beautiful country.

1:20 PM: Meet your guide in front of the Bordeaux Office de Tourisme at 12 cours du XXX Juillet.
1:30 PM: Leaving for Saint-Emilion! On the way to your destination, your guide shall reveal details about Bordeaux, its vineyards and its history, all whilst taking in the quintessential French landscape.
2:30 PM: Visit a Grand Cru or Grand Cru Classé winery discovering each valuable phase of the winemaking process as you venture into the very heart of the winery’s cellar, dug deep into underground rock! Here you will enjoy a wine tasting and learn more from the winemaker themself!
3:30 PM: Arrival at the village of Saint-Emilion. A short guided tour amongst the age-old buildings and winding pathways of this historical village, followed by a wine tasting at a local cellar (optional).
4:45 PM: Tour of a family-owned winery estate with a private wine tasting paired with local delicacies.
6:30 PM: Back to Bordeaux in front of the Office de Tourisme.
