A wonderful way to experience Bordeaux from the river!
Rohan Suresh 08/08/2026
We thoroughly enjoyed this commented cruise. The commentary was informative and engaging, providing fascinating insights into Bordeaux’s history, architecture, and UNESCO-listed waterfront. Seeing the city from the Garonne River offered a completely different perspective and made the experience even more memorable. The complimentary glass of local wine and the traditional canelé were a lovely touch and perfectly complemented the cruise. The staff were welcoming, the boat was comfortable, and boarding was smooth with no issues at all. This activity offers excellent value for money and is a relaxing way to discover Bordeaux, whether you’re visiting for the first time or returning to the city. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family looking for an enjoyable and authentic Bordeaux experience.

90 Minute eco friendly cruise on the Garonne
Peter Meager 06/17/2026
My cruise was included as one of the options on the Bordeaux 1 Day City Pass which made it cheaper than the company’s advertised price. I had no problems booking and the ticket issued at the Tourist Office was recognised when I boarded. It was a beautifully sunny day but I couldn’t find a seat in the covered areas which meant 90 minutes in full sun - remember your sun screen. Although the commentary in French and English was interesting, there wasn’t much of interest to see after passing under the Pont Jacques Chabon-Delmas. Might there be more to see by going South East towards Pont St-Jean? The canelle was given immediately on boarding. Perhaps it would be better to give it with the glass of wine. I had the rosé but didn’t think it was of very good quality. The crew were very polite an friendly and the commentator was very enthusiastic which made it a very pleasant outing.
