Here, Pierre de Malle, adviser to Louis XIV, and later his heirs, received guests, observed, and showcased their rank and ambitions. Experience this exclusive world!Built in the 17th and 18th centuries, Château de Malle was designed as a place of leisure and entertainment.Four centuries later, a second family became its guardians: the Planty family, who are striving to preserve and pass on this living historical monument.
Accompanied by an enthusiastic guide, enjoy a tour of the historic rooms and remarkable gardens, the only ones in the region with a Renaissance influence. From the main courtyard to the “green rooms” of the gardens, each space tells a story: that of power, refined taste, symbols and how a high-ranking, enlightened family presented itself in society.
As you visit, the garden becomes a language, the château a setting, and you, the visitor, a first-hand observer of this continuity between past and present.This sensitive, accessible tour gives you an idea of what it is like to live in a historic setting, both then and now.

- Please arrive at the shop 5 minutes before your visit.
- Garden wear is recommended.
- Photography is prohibited inside the Historic Monument.
- Visitors' dogs are only allowed outdoors, provided they are kept on a lead. Small dogs weighing less than 5 kg may be carried indoors. Owners' dogs may roam freely in the gardens.
- Reservations are considered definitive on receipt of this confirmation e-mail or electronic ticket.
Cancellation of bookings: All requests for changes or cancellations must be made in writing. In the event of cancellation made at least 5 days before the date of the visit, the sums paid may be reimbursed on request, less 3.5% of the total amount of the order, corresponding to processing costs, as well as any bank transfer charges. Any cancellation made less than 5 days before the date of the tour will result in the full amount of the tour being invoiced, with no possibility of refund.
