The 14th century cloister of the Cordeliers, an architectural masterpiece located in the heart of Saint-Emilion, is classified as a Historic Monument and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sparkling wines have been produced there since 1892 according to the traditional method, in the underground galleries. Guided tours are organized every day. The site also has a wine bar, a restaurant area, a boutique and hosts corporate and private events throughout the year in its private reception area.

During 1h30 visit in electric tuktuk of the most beautiful viewpoints of the village of Saint Emilion then descent to 20 meters underground in the galleries of Cordeliers 3 km long, always with the electric tuk tuk, your guide will explain the traditional method of production of our sparkling wines. This visit will end with a tasting of 3 vintage sparkling wines accompanied by a famous Saint Emilion macaroon.

This was a great experience. We had my 85 yr old mother with us and it was a great way for her to see more of St Emillion than she would have otherwise. It was a little tricky getting her into the tuk tuk as the steps were quite high but we managed. Juliette was our driver and guide and she was just brilliant. Her English was brilliant, we had 1 other French gentlemen on our tour and it was fascinating listening to her switch between the languages. She was very knowledgeable and a great driver..those cellars are tight but no problem to Juliette. Highly recommend this tour. All the staff at Les Cordelliers were so friendly and helpful.

The description of this tour sounded interesting - something fun and different. The experience was mediocre, at best. The tuktuk is open air and the driver was also the tour guide. She, naturally, had to face forward while driving. She was soft spoken and it was very difficult to hear and understand her when she spoke, especially when she tried to narrate the tour while driving. We did get to see some new (to us) parts of Saint-Emilion and learn a tiny bit about their Cremant sparkling wine production, but it was definitely not the best use of 90 minutes and thirty Euros per person.
