10:00 AM – Meet in Bordeaux & departure to the Médoc
Meet your guide at 22 Rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau (Le Cadre Café Vélo), in the elegant Grands Hommes district of Bordeaux. After a presentation of the experience, itinerary and Médoc terroir, enjoy a comfortable vehicle transfer to Margaux-Cantenac, gateway to one of the world’s most prestigious wine regions.
10:50 AM – Margaux: white gravel paths & first vineyards
Bike fitting and safety briefing before setting off. From the very first pedal strokes, you ride along the iconic white gravel paths, surrounded by endless vineyards. The atmosphere is calm, refined and deeply authentic.
11:30 AM – Riding at the rhythm of Médoc châteaux
The route winds through the vines and reveals stunning wine estates along the way: Château du Tertre, Château Brane-Cantenac, Château Desmirail… A rare immersion into the heart of the Médoc’s most renowned terroirs.
12:00 PM – Château Margaux, a symbol of excellence
A highlight of the day in front of the legendary Château Margaux. Learn about the history and influence of this iconic estate, a masterpiece of both architecture and winemaking, supported by insights from the château’s museum.
12:20 PM – Margaux appellation & Classified Growths
Following discreet vineyard paths, you explore the Margaux appellation, home to 21 Grands Crus Classés, the highest concentration in the Médoc. A privileged discovery far from tourist roads, where cycling truly belongs among the vines.
1:00 PM – French picnic lunch in the vineyards
Time to slow down and enjoy a French-style picnic lunch featuring quality local products and Médoc wines. A convivial and gourmet moment celebrating the French art de vivre.
2:00 PM – Forests, lakes & Médoc countryside
The ride continues through pine forests, forest trails and stone farmhouses. You enter the Médoc Regional Natural Park, at the edge of Western Europe’s largest forest — a peaceful and untouched landscape.
3:00 PM – Stop at a family-owned winery
Take an immersive break at a family-run winery where you can relax and admire the breathtaking panoramic views of the vineyards!Optionally, enjoy a guided tasting of the estate's wines and discover traditional winemaking techniques. A genuine exchange with passionate winegrowers.
4:10 PM – Return to Bordeaux
Vehicle transfer back to Bordeaux. Along the way, your guide shares insider tips and recommendations to enjoy Bordeaux, a UNESCO World Heritage city.
5:00 PM – End of the experience
