RUSTIC VINES TOURS

We really rate the tour experience. Our taxi hit traffic on the way to the entry point and we missed our bus. The team kindly arranged for us to take another bus and meet up with the group for the second half of the day. For what we paid - we felt as though the tour provided exceptional value. We went to a number of destinations and had +5 wine tastings, got a tour of the region, met with local wineries and importers, learned so much and had a lot of fun.

Booking this tour was easy, and finding the pickup site was also easy. Our driver and guide, Paulina, could not have been better. She was an excellent driver, knew all the shortcuts, but didn’t subject us to rough, narrow, winding roads. Had several winery tastings, with a stop at Chateau Margaux to start, and a final stop at St Emillion town, where we had a final tasting. I would highly recommend this tour company, and if you choose a wine tour far enough in advance, ask for Paulina!

We had a beautiful day exploring saint emilion on the bikes. Such a great experience exploring the area at our own pace while being outside in the sunshine. Our guide was very friendly and shared lots of great information. We visited two chateaus, enjoyed an amazing lunch provided by rustic vines and tasted great wines. Highly recommend!

Our Tour guide/driver was Pauline ( trained sommelier) who could speak excellent English and was very friendly and informative throughout. Went to some great chateaus/wineries and had great tasting of some high end wines of the region. Picnic lunch at one of the wineries in the garden was generous and wine was provided with lunch. Small and comfortable van ( fit no more than 8 people) so very personalized. Easy to book direct via Rustic Vines website - well worth the charges for a complete day of fantastic wine and regional experiences . Highly recommend

Our tour guide - “the Latvian” - was amazing!! Really easy biking and LOTS of wine tastings. This trip was easy to coordinate. Would recommend leaving from Bordeaux if you are staying vs taking the train. Easy to get to the office in the city center.
