Prices: adult €12, reduced rate €10 (students with valid ID), child (4 to 12) €6, free under 4. Included in the CityPass.

Schedule: departures every 30 minutes during high season (10:15am to 6:15pm), reduced frequency the rest of the year. Check the booking calendar below for today's time slots.

A perfect way to start your visit by touring all of the main sites. Headphones provided with historical context as you drive around. Quiet, electric train, good way to get your bearings at a reasonable price.

Really good experience!

This was a really good experience. We went on the first train of the day at 10.15am. Our train had spare places so we had plenty of room. Our driver was very pleasant and helpful. We liked that the commentary matched exactly where we were on the tour and there was plenty of interesting information which was helpful when we then did a walking tour of the key sights on our own. Would definitely recommend for interest and value.
