Meet in front of the Cité du Vin 10 minutes before departure. Your guide will welcome you and present the tour program.

The half-day tour begins with a visit to an Entre-deux-Mers winery. Nicknamed “Little Tuscany”, this hilly region produces a wide variety of wines. After an explanation of the winemaking process, you'll taste a selection of the estate's red and white wines.

Then we'll head south of Bordeaux to discover another part of the Bordeaux vineyards: Pessac-Léognan. This prestigious appellation produces some of Bordeaux's finest red and white wines. Learn how the wines of this region are made, visit the vat room and barrel cellar, and taste the estate's red and white wines.

At the end of the day, you'll have discovered a little-visited part of the vineyard and enjoyed wines that are very different from one another. An ideal way to discover the diversity of the Bordeaux wine region!

Half-day in the Vineyard Review

Emmanuel was a fantastic guide for our half-day tour in Bordeaux. He was incredibly knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions we had whilst putting all guests at ease. We went to 2 vineyards on this tour, a more traditional Chateaux and a modern vineyard. Everything ran very smoothly on the day with Emmanuel meeting us promptly at the agreed upon meeting sight. I would highly recommended to this tour, especially if you're only in Bordeaux for a short period of time as it allows you to get out and see the countryside.

This was a quality tour of two vineyards in Entre-deux-Mers and Pessac-Léognan. Vincent was a first class host of our small group and hugely knowledgeable and passionate about the wines of Bordeaux. Vincent spent time whilst travelling to the vineyards to share his knowledge and guage our level of knowledge which then dovetailed neatly with the information shared by the guides on the wine tours. Both vineyards were of a very good pedigree and not mainstream. The tastings were special and included high quality wines, one in a very unique setting of a brilliantly restored dovecot. It was refreshing to move away from the main tourist areas for Bordeaux wine tours in the Médoc and Saint Emilion (which are lovely also) and the quality was excellent. I know this is due to Vert Bordeaux's knowledge of the market and their ethos of sharing quality chateau experiences with clients rather than playing a numbers game like some of their rivals at the expense of quality and indeed expert knowledge. I know our group really appreciated that and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bordeaux Vert to anyone visiting this wonderful part of France looking to tour some vineyards and develop their knowledge. Thanks again Vincent for a wonderful afternoon. Just perfect in every way.

Very congenial and enjoyable host and guide. He loves France, Bordeaux, and it shows through! Delicious wines, and interesting and informative vineyards. We really enjoyed the small size of the group too. Very highly recommended way to connect to this lovely region.

Wonderful & incredible tour by Emmanuel!

This tour provides a wonderful, small-group tour of two Bordeaux wineries. Emmanuel is so knowledgeable about the wine region and gave us such a great start to understanding what goes into growing the grapes in the various areas (left versus right banks) and also the art of blending these amazing wines. He selects wineries that provide a very intimate experience of both learning and tasting. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and highly recommend any of Emmanuel’s tours.
