This 5 hour tour is offered in the morning (departure at 8:30 a.m.) as well as in the afternoon (1:30 p.m.).

8.20 am/1.20 pm : Meet your guide in 1 Place Stalingrad - In front of LCL BANK

8.30 am/1.30 pm : Departure to Saint-Emilion. Along the way, the guide will provide you with all the information about the Bordeaux & Saint-Emilion wine regions

9.15 am/2.20 pm : Enjoy a guided tour of the village of Saint Emilion

10 am / 3 pm : Visit an authentic and charming family-run estate Saint-Emilion Grand Cru. You will discover the history of the winery, visit the technical facilities and you will learn about the various stages of the winemaking process from the vine to the bottle. At the end of the visit, you will enjoy an aperitif with french delicacies (cheese, sausage, crackers & chocolate) with your wines. Warning: This is not a meal but an aperitif!

11.30am/4.30 pm : Visit a Grand Cru Classé Château (top growth winery) and tasting its wines.

1.30pm/6.30pm : End of your Saint-Emilion wine tour, back in Bordeaux

“A Perfect Half-Day Escape: Saint-Émilion Wine Tour & Tasting from Bordeaux”

I really enjoyed this experience overall. The drive from Bordeaux was comfortable and scenic, and the guide was both knowledgeable and personable, making the history of Saint-Émilion and its vineyards come alive. The wine tasting itself was a highlight—the selection was varied and high quality, and I appreciated learning more about the winemaking process directly from the producers. On the downside, I found the tour a bit rushed at times so maybe I should have done the full day tour. With so much to see in Saint-Émilion, I would have loved just a little more free time to wander through the village at my own pace. Booking was straightforward and I didn’t run into any difficulties with confirmations or meeting logistics, which made the process smooth. Overall, I’d absolutely recommend this half-day trip to friends who want a taste of Bordeaux’s wine country without committing to a full-day excursion. It’s well worth it, especially for wine lovers looking to pair history, culture, and great wines in just a few hours.

A lovely afternoon with informative guides and a wonderful selection of wines. The trip could not have been made easier, being picked up and dropped in the centre of Bordeaux was so convenient. Highly recommend it!

Fantastic tour, would highly recommend, Sonya was brilliant throughout. The two vineyards were fabulous and just a perfect amount of time to explore Saint Emilion, we’d a really enjoyable afternoon and would do again
