Not the best tour
The tour was a mix of English and French… a bit of a disappointment given I thought it was an English-speaking tour. 75% of the context was in French and while some of the information was informative I was better off using ChatGPT as a tour guide.
I passed a few other tours while exploring the city and they seemed more engaging and informative

Very good
A very enjoyable afternoon with tw very different chateaux to visit. I enjoyed the intimacy and enthusiasm at the Sauternes chateau.

St Emilion Tour could be better
The town St Emilion is outstanding.
It was a big group - the guide was very rude and hectic, unfriendly.
The first wine tasting was okay- not more, the second bio vinery had terrible wine .
The trip was not worth the money

Too short for what is planned
The ciait was far too rushed. We left at 1:45 and we were hurried through the monolithic church. Some people didn’t even walk down to it because the guide was really rushing us. Then we had 30 minutes to see St Emilion. Way too short! This should be a half day visit in itself. Then we went to the winery and had a great presentation. Two small sips of a wine at the end was not enough. There were not enough seats for everyone and the glasses had not been prepared in advance. Chose the tourism office tour because I thought I wanted to support Bordeaux. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this to others. Take a private tour where you can spend time in St Emilion and have a real wine tasting.
