Beautiful tour with an extra bonus
François-Rémy gave us a fun, interesting, and informative tour of the Bordeaux National Theatre, home of the Bordeaux Opera. The building, which inspired its more famous cousin in Paris, is filled with impressive art on ceilings and walls, and the theatre itself is lovely. We appreciated our entertaining guide’s knowledge and his joy in describing the story behind this place. He even sprinkled in some songs to go along with the tour. And a final treat was when he allowed my wife, a trained operatic soprano, to sing a little bit in the theatre. It was a perfect ending to a truly wonderful tour.

Informative, but would love a longer tour as a possibility
We booked a bilingual tour and were pleasantly surprised to find the group would be split in two, meaning there was a group with a French guide and a group with an English guide. While the guide was very friendly and provided good information, the tour felt a bit short. I was under the impression we would see more monuments. I would definitely love a guided tour for the Port de la Lune walking route.

History told with fun.
Guide was excellent. Very welcoming and combined talking in French & English both very clearly. We managed to get 60% in French then got it right in English!
History of Bordeaux very interesting. Lovely city.

Well worth taking this trip - guide is an absolute star!
Bordeaux is a wonderful city. We contemplated taking a free tour but so pleased we booked this tour through the tourist office. Bruno, our guide, was excellent - he’s very distinguished, very engaging, very informative and seems to know everyone! We certainly found out far more than if we’d walked around on our own e.g. We were shown the Utopia cinema/cafe where we later revisited for an excellent lunch. We would never have known about it without the tour. Thank you Bruno!
