Château Balestard La Tonnelle: A Century of History and Viticultural Excellence
Located in the heart of the Saint-Émilion appellation, Château Balestard La Tonnelle is an iconic property purchased by the Capdemourlin family in 1923. The Capdemourlin family, present in the region since 1647 with Château Cap de Mourlin, has perpetuated the viticultural tradition for several generations. In 2019, the château was renovated to offer visitors a unique and immersive experience, featuring a brand-new bioclimatic winery and a 360° rooftop above Saint-Émilion.
Opening Hours: We welcome you from Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM.

The tasting was in a calm, comfortable atmosphere with a nice view of vineyards
I liked the range of the wines we tasted, we got full information about the wines from our guide and we had opportunity to discuss and share our opinions with each other quietly, there was no rush. The booking process was quite simple and comfortable also, the price was also acceptable. I would absolutely recommend this offer to my friends :)

Spent a wonderful afternoon at this chateau on a recent visit to st. Emillion. Beautiful vineyard, excellent wine, warm welcoming host. Short walk from the center of st. Emillion. Would definitely go again when we return to the area.
