Located in the heart of the Saint-Émilion appellation, Château Balestard La Tonnelle is an iconic property purchased by the Capdemourlin family in 1923. The Capdemourlin family, present in the region since 1647 with Château Cap de Mourlin, has perpetuated the viticultural tradition for several generations. In 2019, the château was renovated to offer visitors a unique and immersive experience, featuring a brand-new bioclimatic winery and a 360° rooftop above Saint-Émilion.

Excellent tour and fantastic wine
Sarah hosted us at the winery and she was fantastic - very friendly, knowledgeable and patient ! The view from the terrace is breathtaking and the wines are superb. Highly recommended.

Superbe expérience !
Très beau domaine, superbe découverte et apprentissage concernant la fabrication du vin du vignoble à la bouteille, et bien plus encore ! La guide qui nous a accompagné durant la visite est adorable et expérimentée, rendant l'expérience très enrichissante.
Pour finir, belle dégustation de 3 bons vins qui clôture cette visite, je recommande vivement !!
