Château Balestard La Tonnelle: A Century of History and Viticultural Excellence
Located in the heart of the Saint-Émilion appellation, Château Balestard La Tonnelle is an iconic property purchased by the Capdemourlin family in 1923. The Capdemourlin family, present in the region since 1647 with Château Cap de Mourlin, has perpetuated the viticultural tradition for several generations. In 2019, the château was renovated to offer visitors a unique and immersive experience, featuring a brand-new bioclimatic winery and a 360° rooftop above Saint-Émilion.

Superb Experience, Highly Recommended
Fabulous tour with a friendly and informative guide, Laureen. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the winemaking history and processes involved. The blind wine tasting was great fun and the view from the terrace was stunning.

Excellent tour and fantastic wine
Sarah hosted us at the winery and she was fantastic - very friendly, knowledgeable and patient ! The view from the terrace is breathtaking and the wines are superb. Highly recommended.
