Nice morning experience of wine production overview and tasting
Due to low season we have been 2 persons coming for a tour of the chateau and wine tasting and we were taken care of immediately upon arrival;
Chateau Paveil de Luze is the private property owned by generations of the wine makers, very beautiful place for a photo session;
We have been taken into modern wine making facilities and enjoyed explanations about actual wine making laws and traditions such as using only oak barrels and changing them every 3 years;
open for visits part of the residence with a small museum picturing all generations of the owners was very nice;
at the end we tasted 3 wines and very tasty chocolate from the partner's factory.

Stopped there on short notice as we were there for one day - melanie was a gracious hostess and provided a great tour of the facilities and discussed the history of the chateau at length. Most importantly, the 2016 Margaux and the 2018 White Bordeaux were both great wines to drink - we bought both of them to bring to a friends house in France and everyone enjoyed them.

Visited a number of Chateaux on a day touring the Medoc and this was our favourite. Our guide was very friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed a very informative tour of the winery which included, as the harvest had started, seeing grape sorting in action. Finished with a tasting of 3 excellent wines with chocolate. Highly recommended.

Tout nous a plu. Nous n'étions que deux, de plus un peu en retard....Nous avons quand même eu droit à une super visite du château. Et à une réponse à chacune de nos questions.
Pour finir, dégustation des vins produits et commentaires avisés. Et large gamme de choix des années pour les achats que nous avons fait.
