Tuktuk Ride
Paul Keaveny 04/15/2026
Absolutely loved the trip - we took the tuktuk ride round which drove out into the countryside around d the vinyards, and then back to town and down into the tunnels. Our guide, Tamara, was very friendly and had a great knowledge about the area and the wines. The winemaking process was very interesting, and the tasting was the highlight. The whole family enjoyed it, even the 11yo, so this is good for kids too

Great guide but organisation poor
name withheld 04/06/2026
The guide was great and did her best as she had to provide a commentary in both English and French which we had the impression was not meant to happen. We really enjoyed the tour around the countryside in the tuktuk but a road was blocked so she could not take us underground in the tuktuk and nobody explained or apologised that we were going to have to go on foot. One of the organisers told the guide off in our presence (which was unprofessional) but nobody thought to speak to us directly about what had happened and why our tour was not what we had paid for. As we felt that the guide had done her best in difficult circumstances, we decided not to complain at the time and we did enjoy the underground tour that we did on foot and our guide was well informed.

We were 4 minutes late because of train delays and they rejected to give use a refund. 120€ down the drain.

Delightful tuk tuk tour

Loved the thrill of the bumpy ride up and down the hills along the vineyards and into the underground. The tour was easy to book! we actually had to change the date because of change in train timing to St Emilion and the organizers were very kind to honour our original tickets for the new day. I would definitely recommend this experience - its unique and enjoyable and ends with a lovely tasting of 3 sparkling wines and the world famous St Emilion macroon!

Our guide (forgot her name, sorry) was very knowledgeable about the vineyards in St. Emilion and the wine industry as a whole. We asked lots of questions and found her knowledge and explanation with educational. Yes, will recommend the tour to anyone visiting St. Emilion.
