Great Overview Tour of the Region
Martha White 01/23/2026
We really enjoyed the tour and visiting the wineries. The pick up location was in the center of Bordeaux and we had a great guide (Remi). We started with a walk and tour around Saint Emilion and then went to the wineries for lunch and tastings. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and the wines and answered every question we asked. The van was very comfy. We had lunch at the first winery and this was great because we could enjoy the wines with food which really brought out the flavors. The only suggestion that I would have for the other wineries would be to have some kind of snack with the wine as many of these wines are best tasted with food.

Good introduction to understanding Bordeaux wine
Robin Nash 12/08/2025
The host, Anna, was friendly and clear in explaining to us the Bordeaux wine region and how the various appellations are distributed and where red and white wine is produced and the various rules that govern the region's production. Tasting the wines and sampling some food that complemented the wine was a good aspect. I was less sure about the length of time it took to guess the various aromas, which took up a fair amount of time - this seemed out of proportion to the whole session, though I understand how important aromas are in wine. It's relatively short (1 hour) and I would be prepared to pay a little more to hear about the wine making process and how climate change is influencing things.

Excellent Way to Learn About Bordeaux Wine
Yang Yao 12/05/2025
The wines and the food pairings were quite perfect. I actually learned something about the wine and region for once. Really good to know about which classifications and regions offer what kinds of wine. The host was very gracious in answering any questions I had and made the presentation easy to focus on. No complaints. Wouldn't mind more wine though. Definitely recommend.

A perfect day to visit St. Emilllion
Paul O'Donnell 11/25/2025
We were only 2 people on the tour on an unseasonably sunny day. A great time to visit a deserted town. Guide was knowledgeable and flexible in terms of imparting knowledge to clients with very different levels of wine experience. Chateau visited were friendly and approachable and the selection showed a good cross section of producers.

Saint Emilion wine region

We had a fantastic day with Emmanuel touring the Saint Emilion region of Bordeaux. We visited 3 Chateaus & learned so much about the wine making process & about the region. We also loved the time we got to spend in the village of Saint Emilion. It is straight out of a fairy tale. I would highly recommend this tour!
