Rustic Vines Tour

We did the Bordeaux Vineyards Electric Bike Tour with Rustic Vines and it was an absolute highlight of our trip! Madeline our guide, was incredible — warm, knowledgeable, and made the whole day so much fun. Cycling through the beautiful countryside on comfy e-bikes was the perfect way to discover the stunning châteaux and vineyards. The wine tastings and the lunch was delicious. It never felt rushed — just relaxed, friendly and unforgettable. Highly recommend this experience if you want to see Bordeaux’s wine region in the best way possible. There was even another group who did the tour 2 days in a row because it was so awesome!! Thanks Madeline and the Rustic Vines team for an amazing day!

My friend and I booked the full-day e-bike tour from Bordeaux as a good way to see some of the chateaus, taste the local wine of the Saint-Émilion region, and get some fresh air.  Boy, did it deliver! We had an absolute blast; it was so much fun that we booked the tour again for the very next day.  The best part? We got to tour two completely different chateaus on day two.  From the moment we met our guide, Madeline, it was clear we were in good hands. Knowledgeable, passionate, and incredibly friendly, she brought the history and charm of the region to life. She has great recommendations for Bordeaux and understands how to make people feel welcome. The e-bikes were easy to master and the best way to tour this gorgeous landscape.  I can’t imagine doing it any other way.  The scenery was breathtaking at every turn. We cycled along peaceful backroads flanked by centuries-old chateaus, passed through quaint villages, and stopped for panoramic views that looked like they were straight out of a postcard. Each chateau was unique, with its own character and wine.  We were pretty surprised to learn that just a few kilometers can make a big difference not only in the views but also in the wine. The hosts at each stop were warm and knowledgeable; they answered our questions and shared what makes this region special.   It's not just a bike ride and a wine tasting — it's a trip through time, taste, and terroir. Highly, highly recommended! Ten outta ten. Would do it again (and again)!

This was the highlight of our trip to Bordeaux. It covered both Medoc & Saint Emillion with prime appellations Margaux & Pomerol and more. It was a small group, had multiple wine tastings in various chateaus, amazing picnic lunch and the best part was the our host and guide - Hannah. She made the tour really fun, has excellent knowledge on the wines and appellations that made the tour really interesting. excellent value for money. Highly recommend this tour.

Loved biking through the vines and taking the off road tracks. Our guide Maude was wonderful and engaging. The walk through the town at the end was also a highlight, learning some history and stopping for ice cream.

We visited wineries in Medoc, Pomerol and St. Emilion. All were fantastic. Visiting the UNESCO town of St. Emilion was quite the treasure. Further, our guide Kareem made the trip educational and fun. Would recommend to anyone looking to get a taste of the region.

Would highly recommend Rustic vines. Did a full day left and right bank tour which included a wonderful lunch ant an vineyard. Our tour guide Pauline was amazing with immense wine knowledge as a certified sommelier. Truly enjoyable.
