12:00pm First Wine Estate Visit & Cheese Pairing

Begin the tour with a guided walking tour of a Médoc winery, concludes with your first food and wine pairing, featuring local cheeses paired with Médoc wines.

Scenic Drive – Route des Châteaux

Travel along the iconic Route des Châteaux, passing through celebrated appellations. Stop along the way for photos of vineyards and historic château façades.

I learned SO MUCH about wine production, the diversity of the Bordeaux region and that there are red wines I actually like!! Our guide, Daniel, was absolutely delightful and very informative. The van was very comfortable. Glad that our group was only 4 people. Definitely enjoyed the food/wine pairings. The locations were incredibly gorgeous. The guide at the 1st location was a bit hard to understand in her presentation, the 2nd vineyard was a better experience and better presentation from the employee and the last location was by far the most interesting and the guide was the most informative. The overall length of time of the trip was perfect and I didn't feel we rushed anything. It certainly wasn't boring! I would definitely recommend this tour, this guide and this company to friends.

Julie was an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable and the 3 wineries were a great cross section of the region and unique. We recommend Rustic Vines due to the quality of the personal relationships they keep with local wineries. It feels very personalized and better than large bus tour.
