Rustic Vines Tour

Our guide Pauline was exceptional. She was knowledgeable, professional, charming and time managed our unrushed trip perfectly. The schedule was well thought out, efficiently executed and touched on multiple perspectives to provide all facets of wine making. We came away with new appreciation and understanding-and some delicious wine!

The tour is well organised. The route taken is mostly safe (mostly on small roads) and shows you the beautiful landscape and architecture or the Saint Emilion surroundings. The e-bikes gives you the possibility to go to the pace that you want. Because of this people with different health conditions or age can do it altogether. The guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the wine. This slow way of discovering this area was for us a memorable trip.

I was blown away by my day with Rustic Vines. As a lover of both learning about and drinking wine, I was hoping for a tour that would give a healthy dose of both. Susannah was so knowledgeable and kind throughout the day, and every chateau we visited was incredible. This is a true tour with winemakers at family-run wineries, it’s authentic and such a fun experience. Every wine we tasted was incredible, and the tour of St. Emilion was a perfect way to start the day. There was plenty of wine to drink (and purchase / ship home!) and the lunch was fabulous as well.

This was a highlight of our time in France! This tour was small, delicious and really fun. At then end of a hot day we asked our guide to point out an ice cream shop and she took us to the best spot in Saint-Emilion, it was amazing!

This was our second time taking the all day St Emilion and Medoc wine tour with Rustic Vines (first time was in November 2019). Both were amazing experiences. Polina, our guide, was warm, funny and engaging while also being knowledgeable about the history of the area, the sights, and the various wines we tried. The only thing both tours had in common was the same wine shop in St. emilion, but the wines we tasted were different and our guide there, Cedric was a gem. All of the chateau we visited were gorgeous and has fantastic wines for us to try. We learned many things about their processes and overall related to oenology. Could not recommend more highly!

A fabulous introduction to the wines of st Emilion and the area. The lunch and wine provided was delicious and perfect venue. The biking through the vineyards was fun and pleasant. Our guide, Pauline’s knowledge and demeanour was professional but friendly and chatty and made the overall experience amazing.
