1:30 PM: Meet your guide in front of the Bordeaux Office de Tourisme at 12 cours du XXX Juillet.

En route to the Médoc vineyards! Traveling along the Route des Châteaux, your guide will speak about Bordeaux’s vineyards, and you’ll get to enjoy some of the region’s quintessential landscape.

2:30 PM: Visit a Grand Cru Classé winery in the Margaux appellation followed by a wine tasting.

3:45PM: Scenic drive toward next stop on the tour, marveling at the various prestigious wineries including Château Margaux.

4:15 PM: Final visit for the day at a ‘Cru Bourgeois’ winery, including a wine degustation paired with a taste of the local produce!

6:30 PM: Back to Bordeaux in front of the Office de Tourisme.

A wonderful experience with Bordeaux Wine Trails! G was an excellent guide, both sharing his immense knowledge of wine and French culture. We learned a a lot of interesting information on the first tour. The second vineyard was a slightly underwhelming experience, though. The representative spoke for about 10 minutes about their vineyard and then awkwardly kept telling us that Medoc wines really need to be aged 7-10 years as she served us something with many less years :-P. Overall, we were very impressed with BWT and would use them again. G was a great host, and really wanted to ensure we learned a lot while also having fun.
