A fabulous day! Great value for money.
Dee Stein 10/01/2025
This was one of the best day tours I have ever been on. Our guide, Sandrine, was fantastic; so friendly and knowledgeable, and she seamlessly alternated between French and English commentary. We were lucky enough to see the final day of harvest at Chateau Balestard la Tournelle, and our host was delightful (so we're the wines we tasted!) The underground cathedral is quite literally awesome - an enormous space carved out of solid rock... it is an absolute must-see! I felt we had enough time to ourselves to explore and enjoy beautiful Saint-Émilion. And I must give praise to our driver Fred, who showed amazing manoeuvring skills negotiating narrow lanes to reverse-park the bus at our second Chateau stop. Bravo Fred! This tour is incredible value for money and I definitely recommend it. Merci beaucoup!

A grand day out - with wine!
Nick Simon 10/01/2025
Tour guide was informative, friendly and helpful. Seeing some of the wine production at Chateau Balestard La Torrelle - we were lucky enough to be in time for the last of the harvest - was fascinating, and the tastings were great, especially at Chateau Champion. Saint-Émilion was great to visit and lunch at.

Excellent day out

The tour guide, Brigitte, was excellent and the trip was well organised. We couldn’t do some parts because of the harvest, which was understandable. Nonetheless I learned a lot about French Bordeaux wine, enjoyed the Monolith church at St Emilion and had a really good time.

Brilliant trip

The guide was absolutely fantastic and very knowledgeable. The Chateau guide was also very good and had an excellent sense of humour. We both thought the trip represented excellent value for money.
