A day to remember...
Elizabeth Heitmann 05/04/2025
We had a full day tour with Jonathan and couldn't have had a better experience. His knowledge of the region, of the industry and current as well as historical trends exceeded our expectations. We experienced three different wineries from large, legacy chateaus to a small, newer family owned and biodynamically operated endeavor where we had a tour and tasting with the owners themselves. What a treat! Jonathan's rapport with his guests and the hosts at the wineries evidenced a genuine love for people, wine and food and an innate ability to make everyone feel included. He created an atmosphere of conviviality throughout the entire day that will be remembered long after!

The guides don't speak English well. I feel like it would have been better to take the train and do a tasting on my own at any of the places in Saint Emilion. The guide did not speak loudly and basically didn't speak at all. I expected much more since I've taken wine tours in other places, and this one seemed to basically serve as a driver .The places we visited also spoke almost no English. Only the last place was worthwhile, since the guide, who owned the property, did provide us with information and education about wine.

Great day

It was a packed day with 3 chateaux and a great lunch. It was more about the wine tasting rather than information about wine (making). It was well organised with some free time and the chateaux were great with lovely wine. Really great day and would highly recommend.
