Chateau Nodot

For over 250 years, the passion for wine has flowed through the veins of the winemakers in the same family who run Château Nodot, with Jessica representing the 11th generation. Her parents switched to organic farming as early as 1985, being doctors aware of the harmful effects of pesticides. Jessica took this commitment further by adopting the principles of Biodynamics, completing the conversion in 2010. The positive effects soon followed, and in September 2020, the estate was awarded the Gold Trophy for Fauna and Flora at the Bordeaux Vignoble Engagé competition for its commitment to preserving biodiversity on the 8 hectares of vineyards and 12 hectares of wild meadows and forests that make up the estate. A visit to Château Nodot is a unique, timeless experience...

Ecocertified partner

Château Nodot is certified Organic and Demeter for the eco-responsible viticulture carried out on the estate and supports numerous associations.
It has also been awarded Vignobles et Découvertes label for the quality of its hospitality.

Booking with Sonia was so streamlined. She was very accommodating with the changes we required. Vincent was amazing and I’m so glad we were able to make this trip and explore Saint-Emilion. We booked a private tour so we’re picked up at our hotel where he reviewed a map of the places we were visiting and the types of wines. He is so knowledgeable on wine and the area.He was efficient and very caring. Wineries we visited were so educational and gorgeous. Everyone we met on this tour was amazing. Highly recommend this tour . Vincent is funny , well spoken and professional.

Excellent Value for Sightseeing Despite Minor Hassles
Yuqi Wang 02/24/2026
1 One advantage is that the City Pass is very cost-effective and covers many of the major attractions. 2 One disadvantage is that, unlike the Nantes Pass, which can be activated and used directly in the app, the Bordeaux Pass has to be collected as a physical card from the tourist office. 3 When I took the bus, I was once asked to buy another ticket. The driver doesnt speak English and I dont speak French, I tried to explain that my City Pass was still valid, but I failed.

Answer from Mr. l'Office de Tourisme et des Congrès de Bordeaux Métropole

Dear Yuqi, Thank you very much for your comments. We are glad to seee that you appreciated our City Pass. As regards the dematerialization of the CityPass, it is at the heart of our concerns and will be effective soon. Please note that picking up the pass at our desk may also have some advantages. Then we can provide you valuable advice and support to enhance your stay in Bordeaux. We are sorry to hear about your poor experience on the tbm bus, that is surely due to a misunderstanding. This is the first time that such a situation occurs, we will remain vigilant and will not hesitate to contact our partner if the situation arises again. Best regards The Bordeaux Tourism team
