Saint-Emilion Day Tour with Wine Tastings & Lunch

We really enjoyed our day touring the chateauxs around Saint-Émilion. Our guide Julie was great - very knowledgeable and friendly, she helped make the tour very enjoyable. It had great pacing too, we never felt rushed, with a nice mix of different chateaux so it felt like we experienced a big part of Saint-Emillion. The wine was lovely and the whole day just had a really relaxing feel to it. Would happily recommend for a day out in Bordeaux wine country.

Remy was an excellent and very knowledgeable guide. We would have welcomed being told of the Chateaux that we were to visit once booked. Could have then done some research ahead and of what to expect. Just names would have been useful. Would have preferred luncheon taken later say more mid afternoon. But that may not have suited all. On all other counts it was an excellent experience / well guided with just right depth of useful information. Nice lunch, range of wines / presenters too. Aircon touring vehicle essential on that very hot day. Thought it was very good value, well paced, enjoyed the private tastings set up. Glad we did not try and do our own tour ourselves. Would recommend to others.

Without question, this was the best excursion I booked on a 2 1/2 week trip through Spain and France. Pauline was a wonderful host and driver. Each of the first two locations were picturesque - exactly what you want on a tour through Bordeaux wine country. The third stop was also great to sample wines from different wineries, followed by a walking tour of Saint-Emilion by Pauline. Well worth the price, not too long, and a lot of fun.

The tour was run professionally and the interaction with the vineyard staff was very informative and enjoyable. The vineyards visited were notable for their exquisite offerings and lunch was superb. All four of us agreed that we would enjoy doing the tour again. Highly recommended!
