A perfect day-trip in the famous wine region of Medoc!

9:30am Departure from Bordeaux Tourism Office.

Today depart for the left bank of the Garonne. Some of the most prestigious appellations of the Bordeaux vineyards are located here: Margaux, St Julien, Pauillac.

10:30am Enjoy a first visit and wine tasting session in a prestigious Classified Growth or Cru Bourgeois Château of the St Julien or Haut Medoc appellations.

After your visit, follow the Châteaux route for photo stops in front of some of the most picture perfect Castles such as Margaux, Palmer, Pichon-Longueville.

12:00pm Free time for lunch in the Pauillac area.

2:30pm Enjoy a second visit and wine tasting in a classified growth Château of the Saint Estephe, Pauillac or Haut Medoc appellations.

4:00pm Finally, enjoy a third and final wine tasting in Margaux appellation to complete the day.

5:30pm Return to the meeting point in Bordeaux.

Full Day Medoc Wine tour

We had a great time! We weren't sure whether to do a full day or half day but we chose the full day and made the right decision. Luigi was a wonderful guide. Not only did he know about the wines and wineries but he knew so much about the history and culture of the Medoc. We felt like we learned a lot about how Bordeaux classifies wines, and how to choose a great vintage. The tour was very engaging and entertaining. Plus, Luigi left us with some excellent suggestions for places to eat in Bordeaux and wines from other portions of Bordeaux that were worth investigating.

Highly recommended wine tour company! The group size is small and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. His interest in French wine was infectious! The tour was well structured and the quality of the estates we visited were outstanding. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Bordeaux and highly recommended for those looking to gain an extra insight into the wines of the region.

Loved visiting the different chateauxs, our guide was unbelievably knowledgeable, friendly and nice! The one possible downside was the limited number of actual wine tastings and the sizes of each taste; probably could do it in a half day or add more tastings

This was the second time we have taken this Medoc tour through the Bordeaux Tourism office and we have been thoroughly impressed both times. It is fun, informative, historical and the visits to the Chateaus were wonderful and tasty. I highly recommend both the Medoc and St. Emilion full-day tours.
