Saint-Emilion Wine Lovers (afternoon)
Zsofia Stangl 12/02/2021
I had a wonderful afternoon on this excursion. Our guide and our hosts at the wineries were very knowledgeable, nice and fun. At both places they offered 4-5 different wines for tasting. In addition, Saint-Emilion and the region is beautiful. Great experience!

Hi Zsofia! Thank you so much for your nice review! Could you please post it on tripadvisor too? This would be a great support for us, espacially now. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/UserReviewEdit-g187079-d2068515-Bordeaux_Wine_Trails-Bordeaux_Gironde_Nouvelle_Aquitaine.html Merci! Jonathan

We thank Yann very much for his comprehensive services. We visited two wineries. They were very impressive. We enjoy tasting, walking in the historical village and shopping. It was one of my best wine excursions in my life.
Perfect way to see Saint Emilion in a personal way

We took an all day eBike tour of the Saint Emilion Appellation of Bordeaux with a small group of tourists. Our guide Yan was fun and very easy going. His abilty to go back forth with multiple languages was impressive and the tour was guided in English. He lead us around the region giving some great history and cultural significance of the wine classifications. The area is home to more than 800 wine chateaus, and they are packed into every corner. Only a few are are classified as Gran Crue Classe however. Many of the wineries are transitioning (or already have) to fully organic, including the ones on our tour. We tasted at two of these wineries and had a short winery/vineyard tour lead by the winemaker’s wife. The wines were fantastic. At the second winery, after a nice comparative tasting, we had lunch/picnic by a pond along side of the vines. We were within a couple of weeks of harvest so the vines were full and most vineyards were getting ready. The tour of the town was very personalized and felt like visiting with friends. The eBikes were easy to use and the pace was comfortablr. There was van support in case of any issues and the tour team was great. We would highly recommend this as a quaint, active, & personalized experience.

Great intro to Saint Emilion

We had a great time on this tour: visited a small winery and their wine shop where we tasted red wines, walked in the town and saw the center. I only wish we visited the underground church. Our guide Marie was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Excellent afternoon in the Medoc

Great afternoon of visiting vineyards and wine tasting with a knowledgeable and fun guide. It was interesting to see two very different vineyards. Excellent communication prior to the tour from the owner to provide alternatives/suggestions (as initially I was the only guest and the tour would have been cancelled in that case), but luckily in the end another couple joined and I was able to enjoy this afternoon in the Medoc.
Knowledgeable and very personable guide. Great experience!

Our Bordelais guide was not only extremely knowledgeable about the wines but also the history of the Bordeaux region and wine making. Made for a great afternoon.

What an amazing experience, Cam our guide really made this trip, she was outstanding. The selection of winery’s was excellent and the lunch was delicious too. Well worth the money to see some beautiful places we would have missed out on if just staying in Bordeaux itself.
Great Trip

This was a great tour. I only had one full day in Bordeaux, so this tour gave me an opportunity to see vineyards in Graves, Bordeaux Superieur and Saint Emilion all in one day. I also enjoyed seeing the town of Saint Emilion. This is a great tour to do if you only have a short stay in Bordeaux, and if you are trying to see as many places in one day as possible at a reasonable price. Thank you!

Fabulous Wine Tour and Experience

This full day experience was well worth the money and time. The day was full of opportunities to learn about the Bordeaux wine region and taste some amazing wine. Each Chateaux was very different which made each stop unique. The opportunity to have lunch at one Chateaux was a highlight of the trip. Beautiful scenery, amazing selection of food, and great wine you can't beat that. Our tour guide/driver (Kammie V) was extremely knowledge and very friendly. She made the experience even better. I would recommend this experience to anyone looking for a full day of wine tasting and wine knowledge.

A highly recommended excursion to the vineyards
Philippe 10/12/2018
We researched wine tours in Bordeaux with the Bordeaux Office of Tourism and this tour was the most comprehensive. We loved it. It offered a full day from 9h15 to 6h15pm visiting and wine tasting 3 vineyards in Graves and St Emilion, including a lovely picnic at one of the wineries drinking their wine plus a tour of the lovely village of St Emilion and enjoying a glass of Cremant sparkling in the garden of an old cloister. Jonathan, our guide speaks perfect English, is very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and approachable. He runs his tour business, selects and books the wineries in advance and these wineries offer very few tours each day. He has lived on a winery in Australia and visited US wineries, so he has a very open mind beyong Bordeaux. You get a personalized welcome, a tour for a small group (there were 7 of us and Jonathan's van can take a maximum of 8), with no crowds. Jonathan knows the winery guides personally. Our group of Latvian, Australian, Irish, American and French blended perfectly and we learned a lot about wine in a lighthearted atmosphere. A very highly recommended tour if you want to visit several vineyards, taste white and red Bordeaux and sparkling Crémant.
