09:00: Meet your guide in front of the Bordeaux Tourism Information Office at 12 Cours du 30 Juillet.

09:15: Depart for Saint-Emilion in a minivan (8 persons maximum).

10:00: Get your E-bike and apparel before a security briefing with your guide.

11:15: Visit of a chateau in Saint-Emilion and red wine tasting followed by a picnic lunch with a view of the vines!

02:00: Guided visit of Saint-Emilion and its picturesque streets.

03:30: Wine tasting at a family owned estate to finish the day in style.

Vineyards and Saint Emilion by ebike

We had a great day with our guide Clement. We were a group of seven and we were picked up from Bordeaux and driven to the first vineyard about 50 minutes away. Clement was very knowledgeable about Bordeaux, Saint Emilion and wine. The ebikes were brand new and we rode to another vineyard and Saint Emilion very easily. We tasted many wines and the owners of the chateaux were very passionate about their work. We had a delicious picnic too. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wishes to learn first hand from the locals, see many beautiful vineyards and taste some really good wine!

We were lucky enough to have this tour with Jon and it was one of if not the most incredible experience I have ever had! Firstly Jon was the BEST tour guide ever! He knew everything about the wines, the region, the food, the history and his passion for all these made the absolute difference! Being out in the air on the e-bikes was AMAZING! You truly lived and breathed in the experience and appreciated the moment for what it was and we were so glad we chose to do it this way. The lunch out amongst the vineyards was just another point of difference of Jon’s that reflected our tour was just a little bit ‘more special’ from the other tours we saw on the way. I could go on forever but Jon, thank you so much for an incredible day and we hope to see you again one day Down Under!

Great day in the vineyards

We were disappointed that we could not ride the E bikes but due to the heavy rain, it would be too difficult. So instead. Our group of 6 were driven to the chateau by van. Nate was a great guide. We went to Roi Vallentin first which was newly renovated. We were told about their ecological methods, and had a very nice catered lunch. We then visited St Emillion and had a testing there and wandered the beautiful streets. The best part of the day was Chateau Grangley which had great wines, a very nice tasting room and an excellent host. The tour was very good value and was a memorable day.

My wife and I both loved this tour. Mel, our driver and host was terrific. Knowledgeable, friendly and very approachable, she made the day a very enjoyable one. Good quality bikes and great venues make this a wonderful day out; and a lovely picnic lunch, on a beautiful day, at a chateau in St Emilion is worth every cent. Best tour we've done this trip!
