This was a great purchase and very good value for money. We were very happy that we decided to buy it. Just one observation would be that it would be fantastic to have it as a virtual pass on the app as another option apart from having to collect it at the tourist office.

A fun and educational wine tasting experience
Laura 01/30/2026
I had a fantastic time at the wine tasting! Not only did I have a lot of fun, but I also learned so many new things about wine. The hands-on part was especially enjoyable—I loved putting my sensory skills to the test and discovering new flavors and aromas. It was such an engaging experience that I would definitely do it again!

Excellent deal, if you are interested in seeing lots of things

It was very easy to order and use the CityPass. And it was an excellent deal. I went to six sites--three museums, plus the Cité du Vin, Bassin des Lumière, and Tour Pey-Berland--and with the CityPass paid half of what I would otherwise. But even just doing the Cité du Vin and Bassin des Lumières, plus having free public transportation, would cover the cost. If you want to do several sites, plan carefully, as most are open between 10 and 6, and those that are not open every day all have different closing days. I recommend starting it at about 12 or 1 one day, and then you have that afternoon plus the next morning.

Great Overview Tour of the Region
Martha White 01/23/2026
We really enjoyed the tour and visiting the wineries. The pick up location was in the center of Bordeaux and we had a great guide (Remi). We started with a walk and tour around Saint Emilion and then went to the wineries for lunch and tastings. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and the wines and answered every question we asked. The van was very comfy. We had lunch at the first winery and this was great because we could enjoy the wines with food which really brought out the flavors. The only suggestion that I would have for the other wineries would be to have some kind of snack with the wine as many of these wines are best tasted with food.
