Bordeaux Wine Festival June 18th-June 21st: a biennial event much awaited by Bordeaux residents and amateurs from all over the world.

It is a beautiful story that Bordeaux Wine Festival has to tell. Launched in June 1998 to support the urban transformation of the city and the quay, the event quickly gained wide support. The friendly and festive atmosphere of the event seduced the public and the world of wines. The success has grown over the years. From 150 000 visitors in 1998, we have reached 600 000 visitors on the 20th anniversary.

On the docks, over 1 200 winegrowers represent all designations of Bordeaux, they tell you about their wines and… invite you to taste them.

Icons of the Festival : the glass and its holder that can be carried around your neck after buying the Tasting Pass.

Wine of Bordeaux and tall ships

When the success of the association of wines and ships became obvious, we decided to repeat the performance. Therefore, a dozen tall ships will welcome you in Bordeaux for the Wine Festival in june.

For four days, Bordeaux will again be the capital of wines and ships!

I have been on many wine tours in Bordeaux when I have guests in town and this one was the perfect value for your money. It is so much more convienent to have someone drive you to the chateaus and you get the benefit of a great tour guide. Brigitte, our guide, was a delight and was very knowlegeable. The two chateaus we visited in Blaye were lovely and we had a great experience!

I liked the choice of chateau we visited, the guide was nice, gave a lot of interesting information and even a short tasting course. Definitely would recommend to those looking to get the first taste of what Medoc region has to offer.

Locations chosen in the Medoc area were great. The two chateaux's were very unique and different one from the other. Guide was good and knowledgeable, but driver seem to be inexperience with the roads. Would recommend the trip.
