Nice visit to 2 chateaux
Marc Verschaffel 08/23/2019
I liked the nice welcome by the owners of the Château. A little bit more wine at the tasting would be better. But you could ask for more. And the wines really tasted good!
Medoc 1855 premier cru wines and great lunch
Pat 08/20/2019
Our guide was very informative and interesting. The chateaux visited were all interesting and we enjoyed the wines. Lunch was outstanding - we were expecting a small buffet lunch but had a really fine, full meal with plenty of wine. Would recommend to friends.
Great wine experience

I really wanted to see the Medoc area with it's famous Chateaus. I also wanted to do a nice lunch at a winery. This tour delivered everything and the lunch was especially nice with good wine.
Lovely tour guide but lots of standing around
Jessica Ellis 08/15/2019
The tour leader Bridget was very lovely, but the tour is multi lingual and large. If we had known it was such a large group and we would need to wait around for English translations, we would have picked another tour. We spent a lot of time standing around buildings waiting for translations and a very short amount of time for free time in the village or testing wines. There are really no places to try wines in Saint Emilion. The first chateau was lovely, the second we waited around for far too long and we became bored. Slow moving tour.

Great tour!

Beautiful region
Alina 08/13/2019
Great trip, we visited the Médoc region. The guide did not speak great english and it was a bit difficult to understand her at times. She also did not inform us well enough about the schedule and other practical stuff throughout the tour. However, would still recommend as the region is really beautiful and especially the second vineyard visit was really great.

Excellent introduction to wine making in some of Margaux's finest estates
David Cairnduff 08/04/2019
Highly recommend this day trip which visits some of the finer chateaux in the Margaux appellation. Our hosts at the four chateaux visited provided an excellent introduction to wine making - covering topics like grape varieties, soil, vineyard management, picking, vinification, blending , bottling and tasting. It was excellent and well-managed throughout. In the middle was a very nice lunch and throughout the day you had the opportunity to taste the fruits of the chateaux's labours.
Really good experience

It was a really nice day, well organised and thought out. It is quite an intense day, with a lot packed in! The wines were excellent and the vineyard staff friendly and knowledgeable without being condescending.
Great Value for your money and so interesting
Geraldine Pleasance 07/07/2019
We booked this tour quite by chance as we were informed by friends a tour of vineyards whilst in Bordeaux is essential. Our Guide was Veronique and our driver Lionel. Both were professional, charming and fun. The group was a mix of nationalities but by the end of the tour we were all 'best friends', it may have had something to do with the wine tasting! We visited 4 beautiful and unique chateaux and we ate an amazing, lunch where we drank 2 locally produced wines. The wine cellars are cool so take a light weight cardigan/jacket and I was a little thirsty so take water, but otherwise all you need is provided for. We all felt this was value for money and just amazingly informative. It may seem expensive but it is a whole day and you do have a superb lunch.
Excellent tour.

Great guide Christine. Timing planned just right - Christine kept us on track. Plenty of beautiful chateaux, good wines, good foods. Delicious plentiful nibbles at each stop paired with the wines. Great to actually walk up to Chateaux Margaux instead of just stop on the road. Restaurant and pairing wine was delicious. Only suggestion would be to have less detail information. Though they tried to focus each winery on different aspects of the process, we still heard much of the same over and over. Still great. Sylvie was MOST helpful and patient in getting us booked. GREAT tour!
